New enterprise capabilities in Heroix Longitude help companies improve IT resource monitoring and speed IT problem resolution. Grouping: Longitude users can assign IT resources to customized groups for effective organization and easy monitoring. Individual IT resources can be placed in multiple groups based on business service (e.g. payroll, production, database), infrastructure (e.g. physical, virtual, cloud), geographic location, or any other criteria needed to model resources in the IT environment. These groupings allow Longitude users to readily visualize in real-time how availability or performance problems within an IT resource affect business services or IT resources in other groups. Longitude Manageability: It is now even easier to configure Longitude to increase both enterprise-wide visibility as well as provide views into individual and discrete activities. Enhancements improve the flexibility and command and control options available for groups of resources. For example marking a large number of IT resources as off-line requires just a click or two. Customize Report Schedules: Heroix has also added new reporting capabilities, with the ability to customize the scheduling of reports to suit a business' needs. Longitude users can leverage pre-determined schedules for whatever time interval is necessary. This flexibility means that all stakeholders throughout the organization can get the reports and decision-making information they need at the time and place it provides the most value to them. For example, reports can be scheduled to constantly update the Longitude portal as well as a company's Sharepoint portal with valuable performance and availability information. New Dashboard Features: Heroix has improved notifications on Longitude dashboards to better show the health of monitored resources. Any problems present in a resource will show up individually on a dashboard, eliminating the need to drill deeper in order to locate the issue.
