Adobe PageMaker 7.0 for Mac OS and Windows can import native PageMaker files that were created in PageMaker 4.0 or later for Mac OS and Windows. In addition, you can use the Adobe PageMaker 3.x Converter, which is included with PageMaker 7.0, to convert PageMaker 3.x publications to PageMaker 4.0 publications, which you can then open in PageMaker 7.0. PageMaker 7.0 also supports the import and export formats listed in this document. You can use the following methods to transfer PageMaker publications across platforms: - Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) - The Open command (if you use the same major version of PageMaker on both platforms) - The Cross-Platform PageMaker converter, to convert publications and templates created in PageMaker 6.0.x and 5.x for Mac OS to PageMaker 7.0 for Windows documents.
